Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster has officially landed on PC and Xbox. The beloved RPG is now available on more platforms, complete with handheld compatibility and a limited-time launch discount.

When Square Enix first released Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, it debuted on the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025 as one of the console’s launch titles. Like many launch games tied to a new platform, it was expected that it would remain exclusive for about a year. But that’s not the case here as Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster has shadow dropped on PC and Xbox earlier today.

Alongside a new trailer, Square Enix officially confirmed that the HD remaster is now available on PC via Steam, as well as on Xbox consoles. The release also supports handheld play on devices like the ROG Xbox Ally and the Steam Deck. Even better for players in the Xbox ecosystem, the game supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

To celebrate the milestone, Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster launched with some bells and whistles. Square Enix is offering a 20% launch discount on both PC and Xbox platforms for the first two weeks.

The remaster also includes a digital art album accessible through the Square Enix Digital Content Viewer. This is a digital version of the artbook originally included in the Bravely Default Deluxe Edition which was only available in certain regions. So for some, this is a bit of nostalgia in digital form, and the others, another way to appreciate Bravely Default.
