Cyberpunk 2077 teams up with Arena Breakout Infinite in a surprise crossover, officially announced with a teaser and poster.

Just when you thought Cyberpunk 2077 had wrapped up all its updates, well it hasn’t. Update 2.3 quietly rolled out last week and now out of nowhere, a major crossover has been officially announced with Arena Breakout Infinite, the tactical extraction FPS. Yep, Night City is about to get a gritty new battleground.

 

Cyberpunk 2077 Announced Crossover With Arena Breakout Infinite

Both Cyberpunk 2077 and Arena Breakout Infinite confirmed the crossover through posts on their official X accounts. Cyberpunk 2077 posted “Welcome to Night City, Operators!” while Arena Breakout Infinite dropped the bomb with a “Wake the F up operators, we have a city to burn!”

The reveal came with a short teaser video, setting the tone for what could be an explosive collaboration. In the clip, a figure wearing the unmistakable Cyberpunk 2077 bomber jacket steps down from an armored vehicle. It’s a moody, cinematic moment that ends with the unveiling of the official crossover poster. Apart from that, no further details have been revealed.

     

While the teaser doesn’t give much away, both CD Projekt and Tencent Games are confirmed to appear at Gamescom next month. It’s likely that this crossover will be part of their presentations. Hopefully so because since the posts, everyone is excited to see the full reveal.

For now, the crossover is official but we’ll have to wait a little longer to see what it actually includes.
