About Wartales

Wartales is an open-world turn-based strategy game developed by French studio Shiro Games. Play as a group of amoral characters, mercenaries, and bandits trying to make a living in a harsh world where honor means nothing anymore. Since the death of the Edoran Empire due to a nationwide plague, the region has been in decline hundred years ago, as an aftermath mercenary work and thievery have become abundant across the land. You are not special, a chosen one, or a once-in-a-lifetime hero your only goal is to survive or get filthy rich.

• Journey through the gigantic world of Wartales explore each corner of the continent, visit vibrant villages, ruins, abandoned mines, deserted camps, etc. unravel the history of the world. Meet new people that you can recruit to the team with unique skills sets and weapon preferences.
• In order to earn money, you might have to collect bounties or take contracts these will have you defend, liberate, and save many good-natured people still trying to make their way in these lands or you can get more money by going to people who have less honorable motives.
• There are many dangers in these lands’ wild animals, fearless bandits, deserters, other mercenaries, etc. fight your way out of these situations with the tactical turn-based combat with a unique twist.
• In order to be better prepared in these encounters, you will need to constantly improve your team’s capabilities using the RPG progression system, gathering needed materials, crafting new weapons, tools, and equipment. Upgrade your camp’s amenities and equipment to further improve your team’s morale and efficiency.
