About Songs of Conquest

Songs of Conquest is a turn-based strategy adventure game developed by Lavapotion that fuses RPG elements, tactical combat, and kingdom management all in one package. Inspired by 90’s hex-based strategy games, lead powerful magicians called wielders, and your own army to venture deep into unknown lands with contrasting biomes filled with unique enemy factions, in order to hunt for artifacts with unimaginable power, but you are not alone in this quest others want to seize them as well wage battle against them for this new world is ripe for the taking.

• Four factions vie for control of this region:
  • Arleon – knights of old battling each other to prove their dominance trying to maintain the old-world order
  • Rana – ancient tribes fighting for survival in the swamps
  • Loth – a declining empire hoping to restore its former glory by tapping into unnatural magics like raising the dead.
  • Barya – bold merchants, traders, and inventors trying to forge a new path of independence by using the power of coin and gunpowder.
• Use a deep and engaging combat system that utilizes troop abilities and powerful magic. Combine different kinds of troops to maximize the available spells you can cast and their damage potential. Use the battlefield itself to your advantage by looking for high ground and protecting potential bottleneck spots.
• The story of your campaign is told through a bard’s song celebrating your path to victory. Each of the two campaigns comes with its very own unique song that tells a tale of your rise and eventual ruin, each mission unlocks new verses for you to listen to completing the campaign will reward you with the full track.
• Challenge your friends into an honorable duel in both online and local play. Visit the In-game Level Editor which allows you to create your own adventures using the same tools the developers used to create the campaign and skirmish maps, share your creation with others and download other people’s levels and campaigns as well.
