About Project Warlock

Project Warlock is a retro-inspired first-person boomer shooter developed by Buckshot Software. Step into the shoes of a mysterious Warlock as they embark on a dangerous mission to eradicate all evil. Travel through time and space to wreak havoc just like in the golden days of fast-paced first-person shooters.

• Explore sixty vast levels in five different regions, from the frozen Antarctic base to the sands of Egypt. Look for keys to unlock new passages, and reveal secret caches full of ammo and gold. Then, finally, descend to hell to face the ultimate challenge and emerge victorious.
• Fight thousands of enemies from flying demons to five-story robots, splashing walls and floors with their blood and chunks. Figure out strategies and weapons that work best against them, learn their moves, and stay one step ahead to survive through the levels.
• Pick up weapons along the way, from powerful blades to massive guns totalling up to thirty eight weapons.
• Upgrade your hero, by assigning upgrade points and perks to your favorite skills between each level.

Project Warlock is a first-person shooter created by a tiny indie team that punches way above its weight. While its reason for existence may initially seem to be for paying homage to its genre’s forefathers, Project Warlock quickly grows into a game all its own, providing an enthralling shooter experience all the way to the end.

EGM

At the end of everything, if you feel like you could run through the game try upping the difficulty level if you desire a bit more of a challenge. Personally I got slaughtered countless of times of the medium difficulty so I don’t know if I would be up for that task. I like TV and my controller too much to do that. Project Warlock is a fun and exciting shoot em up FPS with a variety of weapons and magic spells. Basically, if you enjoy games like DOOM as much as I do, you won’t be disappointed.

Xbox Tavern

Project Warlock wears its 90s first-person shooter influence on its sleeve. It’s fast, violent and perfectly paced—a must play, whether you harbour fond memories of its inspiration or not. Besides some minor setbacks caused by level design quirks, Project Warlock was pure, unadulterated fun from start to finish.
