The new update comes in the way of Title Update 1.0.6, which adds VFX customization, multiple horse cameras, and bug fixes for various features, including several quest fixes.

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Nightmare difficulty adds a new challenge to the game, impacting both combat and stealth, offering a fresh way to approach missions as players now must plan and execute with greater care and attention.
Enemies have had a boost to damage, speed, and aggression, meaning defensive actions, such as parries, are less effective, requiring flawless precision. Stealth will now produce sound, and players will still be seen even when crouched in the shadows. Combat items are also harder to find when exploring.
Critical Role Joins the Creed
In an epic crossover, Title Update 1.0.6 gets the free story pack: A Critical Encounter. This storyline features Rufino, a character from Critical Role’s one-shot Assassin’s Creed Shadows campaign.
Voiced by Robbie Daymond, the new questline can be picked up in the Hideout and will award players with a banner featuring the Critical Role logo and the A Critical Encounter Trophy/Achievement.
