Survios has announced a non-VR version of Alien: Rogue Incursion for PS5 and PC, which will launch September 30, 2025, via the upcoming Evolved Edition.
The new edition will launch for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, and is described as a “re-envisioned” version, acting as part one of a two-part story.

What Is Alien: Rogue Incursion?
Rogue Incursion is a VR game launched for PS5 and PC on December 19, 2024. The action-horror follows ex-Colonial Marine Zulu Hendricks, who wants to expose Weyland-Yutani and its black site experiments.
The first part of an all-new story in the Alien universe, the game captures the essence of the franchise, plunging Hendricks into a desperate fight for survival against a deadly Xenomorph threat using a mixture of iconic weaponry from the films and stealth. While it’s only half the planned story, Survios does say you can treat it like a standalone complete story.
Non-VR Version – What’s Changing
Coming to 2D screens, Alien: Rogue Incursion will launch for PS5 and PC in full HD at 60fps on September 30, 2025. Survios has not revealed what exactly, if anything, is different other than it being a non-VR version.
The good news for VR owners, in particular on Steam, is that some players who already own the original VR version have revealed the non-VR Version is already showing in their libraries – suggesting you won’t need to buy the game twice.
