Undercoders and Fireshine Games have confirmed the revised release window for Denshattack!, an arcade-style indie title. The game shifts from its original June target to a definitive mid-July launch across major gaming platforms.

To prevent the concept from feeling like a superficial gimmick, Undercoders built an intricate mechanical physics engine. Players control a scaled-down anti-gravity train, grinding, tricking, and flipping across more than 60 stages distributed from southern to northern Japan.

Mastering the “manual” mechanic is essential for sustaining high-score multipliers. By pressing directional inputs upon landing, players chain tricks together across massive, optimized levels designed to minimize visual noise at high speeds.

The narrative follows Emi Araki, a 19-year-old ramen delivery driver turned rebel conductor. Emi leads a revolution against ultra-rich elite citizens sequestered inside protective urban domes that fragment futuristic Japan.

Each distinct region of Japan is controlled by cultural gangs, culminating in intense, multi-phase boss battles. Players face unique threats like Yoshie, an influencer from Fukuoka who transforms her train into a giant, Super Sentai-inspired magical girl mecha.

According to updates posted on the official Steam Community Hub, the game features full English and Japanese voice acting. High-profile talent includes Rhiannon Moushall (Honkai: Star Rail) and Nikray Farahnaz (Monster Hunter Wilds) voicing Emi, alongside Hana Takeda and Katsunori Okai.

The auditory experience serves as a major pillar for gameplay immersion. Main composer Tee Lopes led a team featuring Richard Jacques and SEGA Sound Team veteran Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, who provides vocals for the racing track “Infinite Sky.”
