The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy vampire RPG from Rebel Wolves, published by Bandai Namco, with a planned 3 September 2026 release. The new PC requirements are not shocking because one luxury preset mentions RTX 5090. They are shocking because 1080p/60 High already lands in RTX 5060 or RX 6800 XT territory.

This is less about outrage and more about where Unreal Engine 5 is pushing PC gaming as a whole. Native rendering is still the truest benchmark, but it also shows how quickly High settings are moving beyond mid-range GPU reach.

Native Rendering Is the Real Monster Here

Rebel Wolves published these targets without upscaling or Frame Generation factored in. That honesty shows what the game demands from raw hardware, and it’s brutal, because native 60 FPS at High is now well beyond entry-level GPU territory.

That does not prove bad optimization. Unreal Engine 5 can push heavy lighting, dense scenes, detailed materials and expensive post-processing before any performance tech enters the picture.
