LET IT DIE Offline Version Announced With Carry-Over Feature Confirmed

Free-to-play online hack and slash game, LET IT DIE, announced to have an offline version in development. Saved data can also be carried over.

Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment and developer Supertrick Games have announced they’re working on an offline version of the free-to-play action title LET IT DIE.

LET IT DIE Offline Version Confirmed

While many are excited for the LET IT DIE: INFERNO launch tomorrow, it’s not the only headliner in its universe. LET IT DIE, originally released for Playstation back in 2014, is getting some development too.

During the latest LET IT DIE: INFERNO dev diary, producer Uncle Death announced that after a long time of being asked for it, they finally caved in and is currently developing an offline version for LET IT DIE. Plus, any saved data you have on the online version can be carried over to the offline version when it’s ready.

As for when? Uncle Death did not give any more details, even a release window. To be fair, they’re just about to release the sequel tomorrow so it is best to give all the exposure to it for now. And maybe they just started development too so he can’t say when roughly they can finish.

For now, always having an offline version is a win. A win for the players and a win for game preservation.

LET IT DIE first arrived on PS4 on December 6, 2016, later expanding to PC via Steam on September 26, 2018. Its sequel, LET IT DIE: INFERNO, is slated to release for PS5 and Steam on December 3, 2025.
