Xbox Game Pass is on its fourth straight day of adding a brand-new title to its library and once again, it’s a day-one launch. After a few days of double drops though, today only has one but it stands strong on its own. The full release of Voidtrain is here, and it’s bound to make everyone happy. Yes, including Premium members.

Voidtrain Arrives on Xbox Game Pass With Full 1.0 Release

Game Pass members score again with another fresh addition to the library today. After spending more than two years in Steam Early Access, Voidtrain is finally ready for its full release launching November 7 at 9AM PT / 5PM CET.

The long-awaited 1.0 version of Voidtrain brings its unique blend of exploration, survival, and creativity to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Premium members. Yes, although it’s a day-one launch, it is also available for Premium. At this point, it’s safe to say that full-release launches are not reserved for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members anymore.

The game marks the 7th title in the lineup and the 6th day-one launch for November. It is available to play on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and cloud. For those not subscribed to Game Pass, Voidtrain is celebrating its full launch with a 35% discount on Steam.

In Voidtrain, you take on the role of an engineer stranded in the mysterious, ever-shifting dimension known as the Void, a surreal world with its own rules, history, and dangers. Alone or with friends, you’ll explore floating islands, uncover secrets, and battle hostile creatures while crafting, upgrading, and customizing your very own train.

Your locomotive is your lifeline, starting as a humble trolley and evolving into a multi-car powerhouse equipped with storage, workbenches, and defenses. As you go through minefields, depots, and bizarre landscapes, you’ll fight everything from deranged soldiers to bloodthirsty sharks, crafting powerful weapons to survive the Void’s many threats.

What’s New in the 1.0 Release

The 1.0 update marks the Tesla Era, introducing a major overhaul to how power, construction, and customization work aboard your train.

At the heart of this new system is the Thermogenerator, a key component that fuels the train’s entire power grid. Electricity now replaces traditional fuel as the main energy source, transforming how modules function and interconnect. Linking the modules to the power grid unlocks new efficiency bonuses and strategic depth, while the upgraded Tesla Engine expands energy capacity and performance.

Customization also gets a big boost with the introduction of wall painting and a new Asian-inspired decor theme. The combat system, too, has been refined with improved weapon sights, faster projectiles, and a more transparent Armory Table showing weapon stats before crafting.

And of course, players can expect some quality-of-life improvements including inventory sorting, easier resource management, and expanded world settings.

Returning players can pick up their saved journeys right where they left off, while newcomers will discover a smoother, more polished experience shaped by years of player feedback.
