Sony has announced this month’s PlayStation Plus game catalog additions for Extra and Premium tiers. We are on the thin side this month and unlike the past few ones where we had day-one launches, September, unfortunately breaks that streak. But still, these are some great games everyone will enjoy.
PlayStation Plus Extra Free Games For September 2025
A total of eight games have been revealed, including a classic title exclusive to the Premium tier. While the number isn’t huge, the lineup makes up for it with quality.
Leading the charge is WWE 2K25, the latest entry in one of the biggest pro wrestling franchises. It’s joined by Persona 5 Tactica, also from an iconic franchise, many PS Plus members have been hoping for.
There are a few worthy survival games in there too, especially with Crow Country. If you haven’t played it before, that’s worth your time. Some even say the most out of the lineup.

As for PlayStation Plus Premium, this month brings just one addition. This highly-rated title is part of the Legacy of Kain series and was initially released in 2003 for Playstation 2.
