Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest runs Sept 9–30 with 40+ early demos, giving players a sneak peek at upcoming indie games.

Microsoft has officially confirmed that the Xbox Demo Fest is making its return, and it’s happening very soon. This year’s event, titled the Indie Selects Demo Fest, runs from September 9 to September 30 and will showcase more than 40 playable demos of upcoming games, along with new content for existing titles.

Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest Lineup

Xbox fans are in for a treat next week as the latest Demo Fest kicks off. While the full lineup is still under wraps, four games have already been confirmed to feature playable demos.

Microsoft notes though that these builds are closer to “showfloor demos” rather than polished trials. Meaning, they represent early access slices of gameplay that may not ultimately appear in the Demo channel or reflect the final product.

As of now, the confirmed titles include:

• Echo Weaver by Moonlight Kids and Akupara Games
• Mina The Hollower by Yacht Club Games 
• The Jackbox Party Pack 11 by Jackbox Games
• Yooka-Replaylee by Playtonic Games/PM Studios
