EA is inviting everyone to join the Skate Insiders and playtest an early build of the game before its full release. To join, fans should visit the official site and click “Playtest Sign Up” to register.
The playtest is free to everyone, with players invited in waves. Registration to join ends on June 27, 2027, giving fans one week from now to enter before it’s too late.
What’s Included in the Playtest
The upcoming Skate playtest will be for Update 0.27.0, which EA says will feature “a ton more detail” surrounding environment content, signage, foliage, and graffiti. Players will also notice a big difference with improved lighting, shadows, textures, and animation updates.
Gameplay tweaks include changes to progression and rewards, with over 140 challenges to tackle, overhauled celebrations after earning rewards, and a streamlined tutorial.
