Resident Evil Re:Verse Will End All Services On June 29
Resident Evil Re:Verse will officially shutdown its servers and all service on June 29. Players will have until this date for all boosters and purchases.
Resident Evil Re:Verse, an online multiplayer game developed by Capcom, was created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Resident Evil franchise. Announced in January 2021, Re:Verse was initially slated for release alongside Resident Evil Village in May 2021. But after facing multiple delays, it finally launched on October 28, 2022 instead.
While it initially made a good impression to fans, Capcom is closing this chapter of Resident Evil just after two years from release.
Resident Evil Re:Verse Shutdown in June 2025
On February 5, 2025, Capcom officially announced that Resident Evil Re:Verse will be delisted from online storefronts on March 3, 2025, at 9:00PM PT. Following this, the game’s servers are scheduled to shut down permanently on June 29, 2025, at 11:59PM PT. Players who have already downloaded the game will still be able to play until the final shutdown date.
While no new events or updates are planned before the shutdown, players can continue linking their CAPCOM ID to the game until the servers are turned off. Also customer support will remain available until the final server shutdown date.
Capcom has also confirmed that purchases of the Premium Pass and RP Booster will no longer be available after the delisting date. But players who have already acquired these items can continue to use them until the game’s shutdown. No refunds will be provided for previously purchased Premium Passes or RP Boosters.
