Wuchang: Fallen Feathers aims to follow the massively successful Black Myth: Wukong, another Souls-like that blended Chinese mythology with stunning visuals, challenging combat, and a rich, immersive narrative.
Pre-release hype was built on the back of impressive trailers that stood out with the Unreal Engine 5 graphics. Riding on Black Myth: Wukong’s success, Leenzee’s game found a committed community looking for something new in the Souls-like genre, bolstering its day-one sales.
Finally, the game’s modest system requirements, with the minimum only requiring a GeForce GTX 1060 to run the RPG, meant more players could play the game. The 1060 was released in July 2016.
