SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have dropped the “Enter the World Stage” trailer for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., teasing the brand-new World Stage mode and confirming an open beta from October 1–6. The full update launches October 30 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, with a Switch 2 release planned for winter 2025.

After wrapping up its closed beta earlier this month, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is giving fans another chance, this time a bigger one, to play before launch. SEGA has confirmed that an open beta will run from October 1–6, letting players test the new systems across platforms.
Like the closed beta, all participants will need a SEGA account. An access link will be posted soon.
The trailer shows how World Stage works: seven booths to conquer, each with boss battles, ending with a champion’s crown. There will also be side tournaments that add even more variety (and playtime!), plus, difficulty options to ensure beginners can jump in without worry.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage officially launches on October 30 as a free update on Steam and a debut release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with cross-play support. A Switch 2 version is also confirmed but will launch sometime later this year.
