There’s no shortage of kart racing games out there from fun party-style spins to full-throttle racers. Though the genre has plenty of great picks, only a few karting titles truly stand out. Mario Kart is clearly at the top of that list and has been for years.

But now, another fan-favorite icon is making a surprise return and he’s getting back behind the wheel for another wild ride.

Garfield Kart 2 Rated In Australia

The first Garfield Kart game launched over ten years ago and did so with a lot of charm. Since then, other cartoon racers have joined the race with games like Diddy Kong and Sonic. And while many are looking forward to Mario Kart World release on June 5th, that might not be the only major kart game hitting the track.

Spotted by Gematsu, a new entry titled Garfield Kart 2: All You Can Drift has now been rated in Australia. The game received a “G” rating, making it safe for all ages just like its predecessor.

This new sequel is being developed by Eden Games and published by Microids, the same team behind the original 2013 title. While the game has not yet been officially announced, ratings like this usually suggest that a release is not too far off.

Being that it is still unannounced, no details about gameplay, features, or a release window have been shared. As for platforms, it’s likely that Garfield Kart 2 will land on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, just like the first game did.
