Grand Bazaar: A Success with Over 500,000 Copies for the Story of Seasons Remake!

Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is the Remake of the 19th Chapter in the Story of Seasons series by Marvelous Interactive. The chapter originally released in 2010 on Nintendo DS under the localized name of Harvest Moon in the West. The Remake was Announced with a teaser in May from the Marvelous Game Showcase 2023.

Officially announced in March 2025 as a true remake of the DS chapter. Taking us back to the city of Zephyr in a classic, reimagined life and farming Sim adventure. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – First Major Milestone Reached

Following the launch of Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar in late August, the Marvelous team brings some new updates. In fact, less than 3 weeks after launch, they’ve revealed the first big milestone achieved by the Remake of the classic DS life sim chapter. Confirming that Grand Bazaar has already reached a whopping 500,000 copies sold worldwide.

Awesome news officially shared by the outlet PR Times as well as the series’ official Japanese social media channels. Thanking the community for the strong support received and celebrating the first Milestone with a special illustration. Created by none other than Igusa Matsuyama, the series’ artist and designer since the very beginning.

Awesome news for this Remake of the beloved chapter on Nintendo DS. It offers a greatly improved experience over the classic. With an even richer and more dynamic game world. Thanks to new additions like characters, stories, and visual enhancements. As well as voice acting to accompany this story of farming, friendship, and renewal.

As for the latest news, a Special Photo Contest for the most Memorable moments has kicked off. With 10 Bell-shaped Keychains up for grabs for Japanese fans. Meanwhile, in America, the Marvelous USA team has launched a special live collab with Tsunscoops. From 12 to 14 September, they’re offering ice creams inspired by Zephyr Town’s recipes, namely the Honey Day Cake, Sophie’s Strawberry Pie, and the Nature Sprite Mint Tea.
