Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda 51 have announced that its upcoming ultra violent sci-fi action game, Romeo is a Dead Man, is releasing on February 11, 2026. It will launch on PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

After a long while, Grasshopper Manufacture will release a new IP and from the looks of it, the wait was worth it. Romeo Is a Dead Man, revealed only this June, is now locked in for a February 11, 2026 debut. That turnaround is impressive especially in an era where big releases often drag on for years or get delayed at the last moment.

According to legendary creator Suda51, the team actually moved the date forward from their original plan and is already in the final stages of development.

The game will launch on PC via Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with no mention of being part of any subscription service upon launch. Apart from release date and platforms, Grasshopper Manufacture also revealed that the game will carry a price of $49.99. That’s already a fair price but to sweeten things further, Suda51 teased on his official X account that a launch discount could be on the table. Now that’s how you excite fans!

   

Romeo Is a Dead Man is an ultra-violent third-person single-player action adventure from Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51. You play as Romeo Stargazer, a revived special agent for the FBI’s Space-Time Police after a cosmic incident fractures space-time. The game unfolds in chapter-based missions mixing main story beats with optional side jobs, as Romeo hunts reality-hopping criminals across the cosmos while searching for his missing girlfriend, Juliet. Expect a wild, unpredictable tone that leans into sci-fi noir and pulpy spectacle.

Combat is all about “fight blood with blood”: Romeo fluidly swaps between swords and guns to carve through waves of enemies, then absorbs their blood to power up a brutal comeback move called Bloody Summer. As you progress, weapons can be upgraded and modified, pushing the action toward bigger, nastier encounters with fearsome space-time foes. The vibe is fast, stylish, and gleefully over-the-top—very much in Grasshopper’s lane.
