The team at Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic bring fresh news on REANIMAL, revealing the launch date for this terrifying co-op horror puzzle adventure!
REANIMAL is the new horror puzzle adventure from the development team at Tarsier Studios. Published by THQ Nordic, it’s a new IP from the creators known for the Little Nightmares series. A series that, following the Embracer acquisition, remained in the hands of Bandai Namco. A true spiritual successor unveiled at Gamescom 2024 with a first demo in October 2025.

REANIMAL: Launch Date Confirmed for Early 2026
Following the massive success of the Demo in October for REANIMAL on PC, the team at Tarsier Studios and THQ finally bring new news. Revealing on 20 November 2025 the long-awaited release date, debuting in early 2026, specifically on:
- 13 February 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC
Landing right on Friday the 13th for a truly terrifying co-op experience. Where we will explore a mysterious island full of dangers and secrets. A place that brother and sister must brave to save their friends from the location they once called home.
Demo Now Available on Consoles
With the announcement of the launch date, we finally get the fantastic news of the Demo’s extended availability. Fans on Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5 can jump in starting 20 November 2025.
The team also reassures us that the Demo is arriving shortly on Nintendo Switch 2 as well. Allowing all fans to tackle this terrifying new adventure in co-op on their favorite platform.

Along with the wider Demo availability, THQ Nordic announces that Pre-orders are live. REANIMAL comes with a Pre-Order Bonus featuring the Foxhead and Muttonhead Masks for the two protagonists. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition confirms a Season Pass with 3 Additional Chapters as DLC.
