VOID Interactive has dropped its controversial censorship update for Ready or Not, which comes with a massive patch that adds two new missions and additional difficulty modes to the FPS. The hardcore SWAT shooter is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Ready or Not developer VOID Interactive has released a major update for the SWAT FPS, censoring various visual elements such as nudity and extreme gore, adding two new missions, additional difficulty modes, and lots of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
The patch comes alongside the game’s highly anticipated launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. VOID previously stated it was forced to censor parts of the game to launch the shooter on consoles.
What’s New in the Censorship Update
The update, titled Los Sueños Stories, fixes various AI, UI, audio, and animation bugs, as well as dozens of other issues. The most controversial changes come in the form of three character art tweaks that add clothing to NPCs in the “A Lethal Obsession,” “Narcos,” and Hide and Seek” missions. Players can also no longer dismember already-deceased characters, and gore is reduced.
Additionally, players can now access a personal stats dashboard. A new difficulty system allows players to adjust the challenge in quickplay, multiplayer, and Commander modes. Two new missions have also been added to the FPS: “Stolen Valor” is about a missing cop in an apartment building, and “Hunger Strike” sees players tackle gangs at a local fast food restaurant.
Ready or Not is also now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store. You can compare the best deals on our comparison pages below.
