Planet of Lana (PoL) is a 2D platform-adventure from the development team at Wishfully Studios. A Swedish team founded in 2018 that debuted with PoL in 2023, published by Thunderful Games. Delivering a colorful platformer adventure in a sci-fi world. Follow the adventures of young Lana and her cat-like companion, Mui.

Planet of Lana Celebrates the 1 Million Players Milestone

Over 2 years after its official launch, the Wishfully Studios team and publisher Thunderful Games bring some fantastic news. Announcing on August 13, 2025, that Planet of Lana, the colorful 2D action platformer, has reached over 1 Million players.

The game is available on all major platforms, including PC and Consoles. The team thanks the community for the support they’ve received. They also remind us of the future that awaits the duo of Lana and Mui, thanks to the confirmation of a sequel.

 

Planet of Lana: The Sequel is Already in Development

Wishfully has therefore already confirmed the development of the sequel. Officially announcing on June 8, 2025, the new Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf. The new direct chapter that continues the story of Lana and Mui. With the promise of an experience that improves upon the original, specifically:

  • Improved Gameplay: With many new physics-based puzzles. Additionally, Mui’s abilities will be even more precise for enhanced exploration and puzzle-solving. Plus, the use of tactics and stealth to bypass enemies.
  • New Abilities: Lana will have new abilities to use, including wall jumps and slides. As well as even faster movement for more dynamic action.
  • Immersive Story: With a longer and more immersive story. It will delve into Lana’s past, as well as the dark secrets the planet hides, across various breathtaking locations.
