Outcast A New Beginning is an action-adventure game that serves as a sequel to the 1999 cult classic Outcast. It is set 20 years after the first game and Adelpha is in a bad state. The Talans, the native inhabitants, are enslaved by a robotic invading force.

You will play as Cutter Slade again who gets zapped to Adelpha to save the planet. However, Cutter’s memory is wiped clean. There will be no vehicles in the game apart from the jetpack you’re equipped with but there will be a creature you can use to fly!

Outcast A New Beginning released on March 15, 2024 for PC via Steam and GOG, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. According to the devs, there are no plans yet of releasing it to other platforms.



Outcast A New Beginning Release Details

Outcast A New Beginning is now out after years of waiting. And for avid fans who patiently waited for the game and were surely not going to wait to get a copy, the game was offered at 17% off on PC platforms and 15% off on consoles.

The game being an entirely offline one, it does not have multiplayer mode nor support for crossplay. It also, as of the moment, does not have VR support. If it’s any consolation, you can make multiple manual save files per account.

Although there are reports of it being a bit “dated” for 2024, it does support ultra widescreen and advanced graphic options like DLSS.

Outcast A New Beginning released in full today but there are a few things we can expect in the next few months. Updates include being able to choose between performance and quality mode, and option to disable HUD elements. More details on updates will be revealed soon.

  • Story: 20 minutes per access also (not including dialogues) in the storyline of the village Sappa
