No Man’s Sky: Breach Update Adds a New Spooky Expedition and Explorable Space Wrecks
Hello Games has rolled out its latest free update for No Man’s Sky, Breach. The patch builds on the recent Voyagers update, adding explorable space wrecks to the universe and offering an all-new “spooky” Expedition for the Halloween holidays.
The Breach update leans into the eerie side of exploration, introducing an all-new time-limited Expedition for players to embark upon and explorable space wrecks that offer valuable salvage.
Speaking as part of the update’s launch, Hello Games’ Sean Murray told fans that Breach will focus on the “thrill of space-walking, and giving players more excuse to enjoy it.”
The Breach Expedition: A Haunted Journey
No Man’s Sky’s Breach Expedition is set in the dark, foreboding, and purple-star solar systems of the universe, in which Travellers will approach in search of ship wrecks and the rare salvage and ship parts they offer.
The Expedition is live now and will run for three weeks. During that time, players will find a “spooky” story and new planets to explore with varying terrain, deep oceans, and strange mysteries.
Exploring the Space Wrecks
The No Man’s Sky Voyagers update added the Corvette Workshop, a feature that allows players to customize their Corvette-class starship with new modules, paint, and parts salvaged from deep space.
In Breach, players will discover hollow hulks, long-abandoned in space, where they can explore through space walking and dismantle for valuable modules and scrap using their Multi-Tool laser. Unique salvage and rewards are waiting for those brave enough to step outside their cockpit.
