New Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Ad Drops Early, Confirms Rumored Release Date

Activision drops a Call of Duty Black Ops 7 ad ahead of Gamescom reveal. Confirms previously leaked release date and preorder bonuses.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Release Date  

All eyes are on Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live later today. And while there are many reveals and announcements eagerly waited for by gamers, one title stands out, Call of Duty Black Ops 7. Activision is set to drop its full reveal during the stream but an ad went live early confirming major details about the game.

 

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Release Date and Preorders

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 was rumored to release on November 14th. This date floated around as early as June during its initial reveal and just recently, confirmed by both reliable leaker Billbil-kun of Dealabs and Insider Gaming. Although this is pretty much as good as it gets, it does get even more sure.

CharlieIntel, another reliable insider, posted on X a Black Ops 7 ad that went live early. It’s only 14-seconds but long enough to confirm the preorder bonus Reznov Challenge Pack, the Vault Edition, and the November 14th release date. It also shows a Pre-order Now line so we could expect that as soon as the full reveal drops, the preorders will open.

   

But those are not the only things fans noticed. The first frame of the ad shows what looks like a jetpack which was long rumored and hoped for by fans. However, time and time again, Activision has said that jetpacks are not included in the game. Earlier leaks did mention wingsuits though so maybe it’s that. Apparently this will all get cleared out during the full reveal.

As of writing, the ad is no longer live. Call of Duty has deleted the video but we’ll probably see it later today. Set your alarms for August 19 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm UK / 8pm CEST for the Gamescom 2025 Opening Live Night.
