Majogami is the new 2D action-platformer title from INTI CREATES CO., LTD. A video game development company founded in 1996, formed by some ex-Capcom members, particularly those behind some Mega Man games. They later went on to work on the Zero and ZX series. Majogami: INTI CREATES New Game Revealed and Release Date
With a surprise announcement on 10 July 2025, the INTI CREATES team unveils Majogami. The team’s new 2D action and platformer title, where we’ll follow the young Shiroha armed with her katana Kamikiri. The game will debut on 30 October 2025 on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
An announcement that the team accompanies with a reveal trailer. It shows us the world of Orchesgra, transformed by the distorted desires of the Craft Witches. Where Shiroha must fight her way through and defeat the Witches to recover her lost memory. Between action-packed clashes and challenges in the papercraft character action game: Majogami－The Witch of Luludidea.
Majogami－The Witch of Luludidea: What We Know About the Game
The new title from INTI CREATES is presented as a 2D action-platformer with an interesting style. Combining papercraft style with a dark fantasy world, the result of artistic director Yuji Natsume, who was behind Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and the Blaster Master Zero series. Offering:
- Story: Following Shiroha, who awakens with no memory in the world of illusions and nightmares of Orchesgra. She is accompanied by a sheet of paper that claims to be her father. The young girl must face the challenges of this world and try to recover her lost memory.
- Gameplay: With 2D action gameplay, where Shiroha will use the Kamikiri katana. Capable of cutting her enemies like paper. She must recover the Recarte held by the Craft Witches, special cards that contain fragments of her memory.
- Abilities: Shiroha can also use the Setsuna ability. This allows her to attack and move in any direction without missing a beat. She can also use the powers of the Astrals she will meet, for powerful transformations and attacks.
An interesting style, accompanied by an intriguing story and cast. Where each clash will give us more information about the protagonist’s past and the game world. All of this narrated by none other than Masako Nozawa, the legendary voice behind Goku from Dragon Ball. As well as a cast of renowned Japanese voice actors.
