Team17 and Expression Games have just delivered a massive holiday present for Hell Let Loose players, announcing what’s to come in the first-person shooter’s 2026 roadmap.

The newly revealed Hell Let Loose 2026 Roadmap confirms the long-requested Canadian Forces, new Eastern Front theaters, and a completely new game mode.
But for Xbox players, this announcement comes with a sting. There is a “catch” hiding in the fine print of the holiday celebrations, and it affects anyone playing via Game Pass.

The 2026 Roadmap: Juno Beach & Hungary
Despite the highly anticipated Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launching in 2026, Expression Games are aggressively expanding the original HLL with new content. The roadmap highlights two major operations that shift the focus away from the standard US vs. Germany meta.
Juno Beach (Normandy)
The Canadian Forces finally join the war. This map covers the D-Day landings at Juno Beach, offering a distinct aesthetic and arsenal compared to the existing Omaha and Utah beachheads.
Lake Balaton (Hungary)
The Eastern Front expands with Operation Spring Awakening. Expect frozen terrain and heavy tank warfare as the German armor makes its last major offensive of the war near Lake Balaton.
Community Vote: Seelow Heights?
Players are currently voting on the third map, with Seelow Heights (the gates of Berlin), which sees the Soviet Union take on the German Forces, leading the charge against Metz, where the US and Germans fought among woodlands and medieval fortresses.
Remagen Refresh
As part of the 2026 roadmap, Expression Games is also refreshing the iconic Remagen map, although the developer doesn’t state how the battlefield will change.
An early present for the Hell Let Loose community this festive season 🎄
As we approach the end of 2025, we wanted to share our upcoming plans for Hell Let Loose. Next year is shaping up to be a big one for the franchise, and that is certainly true for Hell Let Loose. Here is… pic.twitter.com/7iHOVhUegQ — Hell Let Loose (@hell_let_loose) December 22, 2025
The “Catch” for Xbox Players
Here is the bad news. While the content pipeline is strong, your access might be about to expire. Hell Let Loose is officially listed on the “Leaving Soon” tab for Xbox Game Pass.
The game will depart the service on December 31, 2025. If you have been playing exclusively through your subscription, you will be locked out of the servers if you don’t purchase the game.
The Fix: Ownership vs. Waiting
Microsoft currently has the “Countdown Sale 2025” live, slashing the price of Hell Let Loose to just $12.49. This is the cheapest the base game has been all year. Buying it now secures your access to the 2026 content without interruption, and you can compare prices and offers with our widget below.
The roadmap also reconfirmed Hell Let Loose: Vietnam for a 2026 release. If you prefer jungle warfare over WWII, you might save your cash for that standalone release later next year.
Buy or Bye?
If you enjoy the tactical loop of Hell Let Loose, the $12.49 asking price is a steal. The 2026 roadmap, featuring a new 50v50 Conquest Mode and the Canadian faction, proves this game isn’t slowing down. Game Pass was a great trial run, but it’s time to commit to the war effort properly.
Will you secure your copy before the New Year, or are you holding out for the Vietnam spin-off?
