Level-5 announces a free DLC for Fantasy Life i!

Fantasy Life i (FLi) is the new chapter in Level-5’s Fantasy Life series. The second chapter in the team’s RPG Life Sim series, coming more than 10 years after the first game. The first beloved chapter was released in 2013 as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive. FLi was initially expected to launch only on Nintendo Switch in 2023.

But with a delay, the game has expanded to become a multiplatform title. It is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC as of May 21, 2025. Fantasy Life i – Level-5 Announces a Free DLC

With FLi officially launched on May 21, 2025, the Level-5 team brings exciting news just days after the launch. On May 23, 2025, they announced the release of a free DLC to celebrate the game’s success. The DLC is called ‘Update the World!’.

DLC created to thank the community for their strong support of the game. The additional content promises new recipes on the way, as well as extra content where we can use the rare weapons obtained from Treasure Groves and other options. The team has not yet confirmed a release date for Update the World! as they want to implement the additions properly before releasing it.

The launch of Fantasy Life i has certainly been a huge success for the Level-5 team, especially with the decision to make the title multiplatform, featuring both Cross-Save and Cross-Play. This allows players to play with friends and online without platform restrictions.

It has also secured a solid place in the top 3 best-selling games on both Valve’s platform and Nintendo Switch.
