Fantasy Life i (FLi) is the new chapter of the Fantasy RPG series from Level-5. Titled “The Girl Who Steals Time,” we return to the world of Reveria, with an adventure through time as we explore the continent and island of Ginormosia. After our expedition, led by the archaeologist Edward, is interrupted by an attack from a Dark Dragon.
Offering us a Life Sim adventure featuring farming, crafting, and creating our dream island. Not to mention the adventure component with exploration, resources to find, and enemies to defeat. Finally releasing on May 21, 2025 after the 2023 delay, but bringing the game to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. With the official launch of Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo’s highly anticipated hybrid console, just around the corner, the Level-5 team finally brings us some news. Announcing the official release date of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time on Switch 2 on the console’s launch day. That is, June 5, 2025.
Announcement officially made on May 27, 2025 through the official channels and social media of the team. With the launch, at least outside of Japan, seemingly limited to the Digital Edition, and the lack of a Digital Deluxe version for NS2. But in exchange, it offers an enhanced experience on the new console.

Fantasy Life i: Switch 2 Features and Latest News
The Level-5 team, along with the announcement of Fantasy Life i on Switch 2, also brings some information. Mainly related to the game upgrade option from the base Switch version. With an upgrade pack priced at $2.59 or €2.27 for owners of the old Switch version. Notably, the Switch 2 digital version is also backward compatible with the “Switch 1” version. The version for the new Nintendo console will therefore benefit from:
- Increased Framerate and Improved Graphics
- Faster Loading Times
With the more powerful NS2 hardware, we will be able to play Fantasy Life i at a minimum of 60fps at 1080p with faster loading times. Among the latest news, we had the announcement of the 500,000 copies sold milestone during the game’s first weekend.
