Enshrouded Hits 5 Million: 1.0 Release & Consoles Finally Confirmed
Keen Games just dropped massive news for the survival RPG genre. Enshrouded has officially surpassed 5 million players and confirmed its exit from Early Access. The studio also locked in the console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Enshrouded Road to 1.0 and Consoles
Keen Games officially announced that Enshrouded will leave Early Access in Autumn 2026. This full 1.0 launch marks the end of a two-year development journey since its initial PC debut in January 2024.
Console players finally have a window. The full release arrives simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No staggered release dates. Everyone enters Embervale together this Fall.
The studio emphasized that sticking the landing for version 1.0 is their priority. They avoided a specific calendar day to prevent delays, but the “Autumn 2026” window is set.
Patch 0.8: Spring 2026 Update
Before the full launch, players get one last major update this Spring. Version 0.8 introduces “Adventure Sharing – Version 1.” This highly requested feature lets players share their custom worlds with the community, opening the door for collaborative building and storytelling.
Keen Games also promised a general polish pass. Expect significant combat balancing, bug fixes, and stability improvements. This update aims to solidify the game’s foundation before the final push to version 1.0.

- 20,901 years of total playtime accumulated.

These numbers confirm the game’s massive retention and the community’s dedication to the voxel-based building mechanics.

Anniversary & Twitch Drops
To celebrate the game’s second birthday, Keen Games is releasing Patch 13 immediately. This smaller update focuses on vanity items and celebration gear.
New Twitch Drops go live alongside the patch. Players who prefer offline discovery can find these items in-game by speaking to the Huntress NPC.
