About Dragon’s Dogma 2

The first chapter of the series was released in 2012 for consoles and the following year was enhanced with Dark Arisen, a DLC that also included the original game. It arrived on PC only in 2016. In 2015, Capcom released Dragon’s Dogma Online, exclusively in Japan, but it was shut down in 2019. In short, fans of the series had to wait well over 8 years to finally see a sequel, coming this 22 March 2024.

The series is characterized as an RPG Action Fantasy in an open-world setting. It appears that Capcom intends to release, at least speculating on this data, a demo alongside the official release of Dragon’s Dogma 2. A demo that should satisfy all players before deciding whether to purchase the title or not. A move that is in line with Capcom and their recent titles, offering a demo for a taste of the game. This will surely please fans and newcomers alike, but above all, it shows a certain confidence from Capcom’s team in this new chapter.
