The 2.0 Title Update (or 1.016 for console) brings in the most awaited features that were announced in July, the 3rd person update and the New Game+. The Third-Person Mode adds a new camera view you can switch to anytime, letting you see your character and more of Pandora for a more movie-like feel. While the New Game+ lets you replay the story with your saved gear and skills, but with harder enemies, plus a new skill tree and better loot so the second run feels fresh and more challenging.

Also included in this update are some major improvements, hence the big file size, like fixed missing landmarks, improved Na’vi language accuracy, and for PC, introducing Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 4 upscaling options.
While there’s a lot of new value to the game, there are still some issues that need fixing which the devs are already aware of. So if you encounter things like persistent Ping icons in co-op, empty Character Overrides menu, and localization issues (among others), don’t worry, they’re actively investigating these.
