Assassin’s Creed Shadows Nintendo Switch 2 version has been spotted on Auchan, one of France’s biggest retailer.
Ubisoft is inching closer to its Nintendo Switch 2 debut as eagle-eyed gamers spotted the rumored Assassins’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 version online. While no official announcement has been made yet, it’s a strong indication that it is near.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Switch 2 Listing on Auchan
Assassin’s Creed Shadows officially launched on March 20, 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. About a month after, the game’s PEGI page was seen with a Nintendo Switch 2 as part of the platforms.
At the time, it wasn’t clear if it was leaked information or the website made an honest mistake. Ubisoft eventually said that the game is headed to other platforms but without specifying Switch 2. It was pretty obvious though for everyone.
Fast forward to today, it looks like the announcement will soon be made. A listing on Auchan’s website, a French retailer, showed the much awaited Assassin’s Creed Shadows Nintendo Switch 2 version. The page shows the usual PEGI rating, product description, and platform, but no price nor release date.
Considering that the page is still up, it’s not surprising if Ubisoft comes out this weekend to confirm the latest platform available to the game and when it will release.
This isn’t the only Assassin’s Creed title rumored for the Switch 2. There’s also talk of Assassin’s Creed Mirage making its way to the platform. However unlike Shadows, there’s far less evidence to support this claim. Not even a hint surfaced during the reveal of its upcoming free DLC, Valley of Memory.
