Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan Crossover Event Live for a Limited Time
In one of the most surprising collaborations this year, Ubisoft has launched a limited-time crossover event that brings the world of Attack on Titan (AoT) to Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Attack on Titan clash for an epic crossover event that brings a mysterious faction and a Titan-Shifter to Japan, and it’s live from November 25 until December 22.
As part of Title Update 1.1.6, this limited-time event draws both Naoe and Yasuke into an all-new story quest that will involve “forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations.”
The Free Crossover Quest
The core content of the event is a new, free, story-driven quest for all players who have unlocked playable character Yasuke. This new quest will see dual protagonists Naoe and Yasuke investigate the Crystal Cave from AoT, as they attempt to put a stop to a strange new cult and its experiments.
To obtain the quest, players must travel to the North of Hanazo Tower in the Yamishiro region to find the quest giver. There is an icon displayed on the map, but the quest will not show on the objective board until players interact with its giver.
Attack on Titan Cosmetics and Gear
During the quest, players can unlock new banners and a statue for their hideout, and upon completion, they will earn a new crystal katana for Naoe.
Additionally, Ubisoft has announced the Attack on Titan Dual Pack, which players can purchase from the in-game store to unlock a Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke, a Survey Corps mount, weapons, and trinkets.
Beyond the Crossover
The AoT crossover launches alongside the third free story drop for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, titled “A Puzzlement,” which offers a “fun and humorous quest” that sees Naoe and Yasuke seta bout trying to open a mysterious door in South Wakasa after overhearing two old friends arguing.
During this free quest, Naoe will learn how to perform her own version of Yasuke’s war kick, while Yasuke will learn how to neutralize enemies using stealth in non-lethal ways.
