We’re heading into May, and for Star Wars fans, that can only mean one thing, Star Wars Day is just around the corner! While the galaxy-wide celebration officially kicks off on May 4th, Nintendo is giving fans an early treat to help them get in the spirit.
Two great Star Wars games are making a limited-time appearance on Nintendo Switch Online’s Game Trials, and they’re available to play starting today.
2 Star Wars Games Enter Nintendo Switch Online Game Trials
Nintendo has officially announced that Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles and STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter are now available through the Nintendo Switch Online Game Trials program. Starting April 30 at 10AM PT / 6PM BST / 7PM CEST, players with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership can dive into both games at no extra cost.
The Game Trials will remain available until May 6 at 11:59 p.m. PT, which translates to 7:59 a.m. BST and 8:59 a.m. CEST on May 7. That gives players nearly a full week to explore both titles, a perfect warm-up to Star Wars Day.

Star Wars: Episode I – Jedi Power Battles is a fast-paced side-scrolling action game where you take control of your favorite Jedi, using lightsabers and the Force to battle droids and enemies on a mission to save the Theed Palace. Featuring 11 playable characters with unique stats and abilities, the game offers a mix of strategy and action across varied levels. Players can team up in local two-player co-op, enjoy enhanced visuals and effects, and choose between modern or classic controls.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter puts you in the armor of Jango Fett, the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunter, in this remastered version of the 2002 classic. Set before the events of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, the game follows Jango’s dangerous mission to track down a rogue Dark Jedi. Armed with iconic Mandalorian gear, like dual blasters, a flamethrower, and a whipcord, you’ll blast through criminals and explore the grittier side of the Star Wars universe.
