The Game Awards 2026 Has an Official Date

The industry’s biggest event of the year has now secured a final airing date. The Game Awards 2026 will take place on December 10, 2026, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, once again bringing together gaming’s biggest names for a night of awards, announcements, performances, and surprises.

The date was officially announced through The Game Awards’ X account, with Geoff Keighley also confirming the news. Keighley will return as the host of the ceremony, continuing his role at the event that has become one of the most important annual celebrations in the gaming industry.

For now, there is not much more that has been shared apart from the date and venue but more details including information on tickets will be officially revealed in the fall. Instant Gaming News, however, got wind that tickets will go on sale on October 29, 2026. No source was cited though so take this info with caution.
