Halo Fest returns December 2026 with a concert and convention in Seattle to celebrate Halo’s 25th anniversary. Tickets go on sale December 10, 2025.

Halo has been making waves in gaming news lately as we approach its 25th anniversary next year. Just a couple of days ago, Halo: Combat Evolved was officially revealed but turns out, it’s not the only comeback we can expect for 2026. During the Halo World Championship, Halo Studios also announced that Halo Fest is returning for a 3-day event to celebrate this long-running franchise, loved by many gamers.

 

Halo Fest 2026 Officially Announced: Here’s What We Know So Far

Halo debuted in 2001 and became an instant hit. While the last entry was released four years ago, the franchise has stayed on top of most player’s gamelist over the past 24 years. The game, the music, the merch, the random tourneys, and the official esports made Halo one of the pillars of modern gaming. So it‘s just fitting that next year, on its 25th anniversary, a major celebration is warranted.

Halo Fest has had 2 official runs before, one in 2011 and one in 2014, though there was also a Gamestop-hosted edition in 2010. Since it’s been a while since the last event, many considered Halo Fest finished. Oh but we were wrong.

As the franchise celebrates a major milestone, the event is returning for a 3-day event which will start on December 11, 2026 with a Concert, and then followed by a Convention on December 12-13, 2026.

   

The concert will take place at Seattle’s historic Benaroya Hall, featuring 25 years of Halo’s most iconic scores performed by the Seattle Symphony. Invitations have gone out to the series’ legendary composers like Marty O’Donnell, Michael Salvatori, Brian Lee White, and Kazuma Jinnouchi, who will serve as Guests of Honor.

Following the concert, the Halo Fest convention will be held at the Summit Building of the Seattle Convention Center, offering fans an immersive experience probably filled with developer presentations, exclusive merch displays, community events, and possibly even small on-site tournaments. More details will be revealed through monthly updates next year.

Tickets will go on sale starting December 10, 2025. The packages and what to expect like the Benaroya Hall capacity versus the convention center will be discussed in an update next month.
