Since the release of the second trailer of GTA 6, the community has been buzzing. A background detail in Jason’s apartment has caught the eye of internet sleuths.

Some observers are convinced that two clues stand out:

  • A console with a never-before-seen design sitting near the TV.
  • A controller, strongly resembling Sony’s ergonomics, resting on the coffee table.

That was all it took to ignite the imagination of players who already see the future of the PlayStation brand.

Rockstar might not have planned to synchronize the two events, but time is now favoring a “cross-gen” or simultaneous launch.
