The Flashpoint Update is Now Live

Embark has dropped the third major update of 2026 for ARC Raiders today, Tuesday, March 31. You won’t have to wait all day to get your hands on the new content.

The update is already live today at 1:30 a.m. PST (West Coast) and 4:30 a.m. EST (East Coast). European players can start playing around 10:30 a.m. CET.

There is no scheduled server downtime. This means you can start hunting for new blueprints the second your download completes.


New ARC Threats: Vaporizers and Wandering Shredders

The skies over Speranza are getting significantly more hostile. The new Vaporizer is a flying ARC unit equipped with deadly laser attacks.

It operates with erratic movement patterns—making anti-air loadouts mandatory if you want to extract in one piece.

Ground combat isn’t any safer. The terrifying Shredders, previously locked inside the Stella Montis underground, have broken containment. You will now encounter these tank-like machines across Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds.


Fresh Arsenal: The Canto, Dolabra, and Surge Coil

To counter the escalating ARC presence, Tian Wen’s workshop brings two brand new firearms. The Canto is a medium-ammo submachine gun designed to maintain distance against aggressive machines and rival squads.

If things get personal, the Dolabra energy shotgun is your best bet. It features a variable focus—letting you choose between a wide defensive spread or a concentrated funnel of electricity to crack heavy armor.

Players can also deploy the new Surge Coil, an electronic trap that shocks anything wandering too close. It is perfect for locking down extraction points or securing flanks during intense firefights.


The ARC Assessor and Quality of Life Upgrades

A massive new map condition called Close Scrutiny introduces the ARC Assessor. This heavily guarded machine carries rare progression components, acting as a massive PvP magnet.

Regular map loot is severely reduced during this event. This forces squads into brutal, high-stakes firefights over the Assessor’s payload.

Back at base, inventory management is finally getting streamlined. The new crafting menu lets you recycle, refine, or buy missing materials directly from a single window. No more backing out of tabs just to scrap a spare optic.

Your trusty rooster, Scrappy, also gets a major buff. Feeding him specific items forces him to prioritize the exact resources you need, taking some of the RNG out of your daily grind.
