WHAT IS XUAN-YUAN SWORD 7?

Xuan-Yuan Sword 7 is an action RPG based on Chinese history, with the story following Taishi Zhao after the slaughter of his family.

He flees to the mountains with his sick baby sister, where he must battle monsters and forage for supplies to survive.

However, it’s not enough, and Taishi Zhao must accept dangerous jobs so that he can pay for the medicine his sister desperately needs.

The story is an epic tale of survival, revenge, and uncertainty that will see the siblings travel to famous locations and participate in historical events.

There is much more to the game than fighting and foraging, with challenges including solving puzzles and finding the legendary Xuan-Yuan sword.

Those resources you collect while on your journey can be used to build facilities, upgrade weapons and gear, and unlock new and powerful abilities.

Your upgrades and abilities will come in useful against the many different human and mythological creature types.

Each enemy type you encounter has a unique fighting style, and learning and adapting those styles will be key to defeating them and surviving.

When fighting the mythological creatures, you can store their souls once they are defeated to summon them to fight alongside you against tougher enemies.

Need a break? You can always pull out the chess pieces and play against characters you encounter throughout the game.
