Xbox Retro Classics Announced 4 More Games To Enter Its Catalog
Retro Classics catalog expands with 4 new titles as part of the Xbox December Update, bringing the collection to over 100 games.
Xbox Retro Classics is about to get even bigger as Microsoft announced 4 new games are set to enter the said catalog. This is the fourth update since it launched in May 2025.
New Additions To Xbox Retro Classics Library
Retro gamers on Xbox Game Pass are in for another treat as Microsoft shared that 4 “new” games will be joining the catalog. Although no exact date was given as to when they will be added, it was included in the massive Xbox December Update which was published just a couple of days ago. So expect these titles to be available within the month.
Worth noting that while the official update picture shows only 3 games, Xbox listed 4 in its official announcement.

- Plaque Attack
- Police Quest 2
- Space Shuttle
This marks the fourth update Retro Classics has had since it launched in May 2025. The first one was in early July which saw a 5-game addition, then before the month was over, another 7 joined. After that, 5 more landed in the catalog, which can count as 7 as two of the games have 2 versions each.
Since Microsoft, during launch, shared that Retro Classics should have over 100 games by this year, we knew one more update was in line. True to their word, December brings in the last and 4th update for 2025.

The Xbox Retro Classics app is a dedicated hub that lets players access a curated collection of classic games from the 80s-90s, and some early 2000s. It features officially emulated versions of retro titles, preserving their original gameplay while making them easily playable on modern hardware.
To access it, simply download the Xbox Retro Classics app from the Microsoft Store. It’s free to install and use as long as you have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription.
