Final Fantasy VI, Jurassic World Evolution 3, and Elder Scrolls Online PC join Xbox Game Pass today ahead of the official Wave 1 announcement.

Key Takeaways
  • Three New Games Available: Final Fantasy VI, Jurassic World Evolution 3, and The Elder Scrolls Online (PC) are playable on Xbox Game Pass starting today.
  • Pixel Remaster Series Complete: The arrival of Final Fantasy VI concludes Microsoft’s six-month rollout of the entire Pixel Remaster collection on the service.
  • PC Expansion & Play Anywhere: The Elder Scrolls Online makes its debut on PC Game Pass with full Xbox Play Anywhere support for cross-progression.

June is only just getting started but Xbox Game Pass members already have a few fresh additions waiting for them today. While everyone is still waiting for Microsoft to reveal the official Wave 1 lineup for the month, a trio of arrivals across the service is already available to download.

Three New Additions Arrive on Game Pass Today

The official Wave 1 lineup for Xbox Game Pass has yet to be formally announced but members can already jump into two new games today or three if you are playing on PC Game Pass. Originally revealed as part of May’s wave 2 announcement, Final Fantasy VI and Jurassic World Evolution 3 are officially available for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Final Fantasy VI marks the final entry in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle to arrive in the service. Microsoft has been drip-feeding all six titles into the library on a monthly basis since January. Today ends the six-month rollout that has steadily expanded one of gaming’s most influential franchises on Game Pass.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 is another welcome addition especially given what we now know about this month’s departures. Its predecessor, Jurassic World Evolution 2, is currently scheduled to leave the service in mid-June, making today’s release a timely replacement.

Rounding out today’s additions is The Elder Scrolls Online. While the MMORPG has already been available through Game Pass on console, today marks its debut on PC Game Pass. It also arrives as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, allowing players to move between Xbox and PC while keeping their progress and purchases connected across platforms.

With these three arrivals, Xbox Game Pass is off to a solid start this month and there’s still more to come. The Wave 1 announcement is expected later today which means additional games will soon join the 11 titles that have already been confirmed for the service in June.

Final Fantasy VI is widely regarded as one of the greatest entries in the series, following a large cast of heroes fighting against an oppressive empire in a world where magic has long been thought lost. This Pixel Remaster version preserves the classic turn-based RPG while enhancing it with updated 2D visuals, a rearranged soundtrack, quality-of-life improvements, and modern features such as auto-battle. Players can customize party members through the magicite system, unlocking spells, abilities, and powerful summons throughout the adventure.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 puts players in charge of building and managing their own dinosaur theme park, combining creative park design with deep management mechanics. The latest entry expands the series with more than 85 prehistoric species, including multi-generational dinosaur families that can breed, grow, and pass on traits. Alongside new attractions, advanced terrain tools, and community sharing features, the game also introduces a globe-spanning campaign where players must balance guest satisfaction, corporate interests, and the constant threat of dinosaurs breaking loose.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer RPG set nearly a thousand years before the events of Skyrim, allowing players to forge their own paths across the continent of Tamriel either entirely solo or alongside friends. Adventurers explore iconic locations from the franchise’s history like the mushroom forests of Morrowind or the dangerous streets of the Imperial City. The gameplay loop is supported by a seasonal system that introduces fresh story content and experimental features, alongside the Tamriel Tomes reward system.
