Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 Gives Strong Sign of Life

At the Future Game Show of last March, we saw an interesting lineup of new exciting games, especially indies or AA studio titles, not to mention the success of the event. This success led GamesRadar to capitalize on the attention by bringing two additional Summer editions, editions that will take place at the Summer Game Fest on 8 June and during Gamescom on 22 August.

Among the upcoming announcements could be a game that many have been eagerly awaiting since 2019. Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2.

What do we know about Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Bloodlines, a game released way back in 2004 and based on the eponymous classic Role-Playing Game akin to Paper and Pen games, created by the publishing house White Wolf in 1991. The first game from 2004, developed by Troika Games, managed to bring the dark gothic experience of the classic RPG into the gaming medium, using the Source Engine in first-person. Where we discovered the underground world of vampires in 2004 LA, with a wide variety of choices and fun gameplay.

Bloodlines 2, on the other hand, is developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Entertainment, which announced the title in 2019 and is expected to arrive in 2024. With a new gameplay showcase released on 31st January 2024, where the team delves into the new aspects of Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2.

Although the initial impressions of this sequel are not particularly pleasing to longtime fans, Bloodlines 2 definitely has some interesting new features, and The Chinese Room still has time to adjust or try to add the community’s favorite features. As for the release date, scheduled for 2024, we still do not have a certain date.

However, it remains very likely that Paradox, with its participation in the two upcoming The Future Game Show Summer Showcases, will have to see if Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 will appear in the lineup of the two Shows, which we remember are on 8th June 2024, in Los Angeles during the Summer Game Fest and on 22nd August 2024 at Gamescom in Cologne.
