After months of playful game crossover hints, countdowns, and skater reveals, the skateboarding classic is finally out and ready to make our fingers hurt all over again. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remaster officially launches today, July 11th, across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox PC, Battle.net, Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. And yes day-one on Xbox Game Pass too!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Joins Game Pass on Day One
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 breathes new life into two genre-defining titles, bringing back the beloved skating legends alongside eight new pros. The game isn’t just about nostalgia though, it’s packed with new skateparks and a revamped trick system. It also has an updated soundtrack that mixes iconic tracks from the original with new ones. Some fans would have liked to retain all original soundtrack but hey, that’s how licensing works.
The remaster also features the Create-A-Skater tool for building your own unique persona, an enhanced Create-A-Park mode for crafting custom skate havens, and a trick system that rewards both style and skill, making it a fully loaded return to form for the series.
All of this content is now available for free to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Unfortunately, for Standard subscribers, you’ll have to wait a bit longer before you can jump in. If you’re ready to drop in and start skating, make sure you’ve got enough storage. The standard edition of THPS 3 + 4, which is the one included with Game Pass, requires 44.2GB on Xbox and 39.8GB on PC.
The game marks the second day-one launch for Game Pass this month, following Minami Lane which made its debut on July 9th.
