The world of Cyberpunk continues to expand in a big way, this time stepping into tabletop gaming as the official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game pulls in massive support on Kickstarter. What started as a promising project has quickly turned into one of the platform’s biggest success stories, showing just how strong the fanbase still is.

 

Cyberpunk TCG Surpasses $12M on Kickstarter

The Cyberpunk Trading Card Game has officially become the most funded TCG on Kickstarter, surpassing $12 million in pledges with 25 days still to go. The campaign launched on March 17, 2026 with a modest $100,000 goal. So not only is the pledge amount impressive but also how quick it managed to get there.

The game is being developed by WeirdCo in collaboration with CD Projekt Red. It brings together elements from Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Dark Horse’s Cyberpunk comics featuring a mix of characters, locations, and gear from across the franchise.

Since its reveal last year, fans have been hooked on everything about it. And so when videos from influencers and media outlets were released, the excitement just exploded. So much so that it immediately translated to $12M.

   
 

The pledge tiers range from entry-level to premium options, starting with the Common Cyberdecks priced at $49. This includes two starter decks:

  • “The Heist” featuring Night City mercenaries
  • “Embracing Power” centered on the Arasaka Corporation

Each starter deck also comes with its own set of dice. On the other end, the highest tier sits at $7,999. It’s a steep price point yet it has already attracted backers in the triple digits. The most popular option so far is still the $350 Netrunner Starter Kit which includes both starter decks along with two display boxes.

According to the Kickstarter page, the first wave of deliveries is scheduled for Q3 2026, followed by a second wave in Q4 2026. All pledge tiers will also receive a Kickstarter-exclusive bonus, a Nova Rare Rebecca “Having a Moment” card, featuring the fan-favorite character from Edgerunners.

While WeirdCo confirmed that this is a physical-only game, CD Projekt Red may want to consider bringing this digitally. At this rate, fans may just start a petition for it.
