Remnant 2: New Gameplay Scenes Shows Us the Beauty of the Fallen World

Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games showed us 9 minutes of pure gameplay for their upcoming game Remnant 2.

There is no date but there is gameplay

The developers of the co-op shooter Remnant 2 released a 9 minute long gameplay trailer for their new game. 

If you are interested in this game you should definitely watch these 9 minutes to know what you can expect.

In these 9 minutes of pure gameplay without any explanations or commentary you can see the improved graphics compared to the first game and new classes.

It doesn’t seem like a new game, just like an improvement of the first game but this is what the fans of the franchise want.

You can expect many different landscapes, for example a beautiful forest or an overgrown cave full of enemies. 

Remnant 2 is the sequel of the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes where humanity is at their lowest point and they have to survive in a world full of deadly new creatures and hard bosses and all of this in a destroyed world. 

For this you will get tons of different weapons. There will be melee weapons like axes or chainsaws but also pistols, rifles and everything you can think of. 

The gunplay of the game seems very smooth and you can shoot away body parts if you want to, for example the legs, then the enemy has to crawl.

The enemies drop you scrap, iron and other resources which you will later use to craft new gears but the gameplay trailer shows nothing of this.  

You play the game in 3rd person but you can always switch the shoulder you are looking at above so you can always see your enemy.  

In Remnant 2 you have to level up your character to learn new abilities for your character.

In the trailer you see many different types of enemies. On the one hand, see melee human-like monsters or human-like monsters. But on the other hand, you see living rolling spheres or flying enemies which shoot projectiles at you.

In the trailer you only see someone who plays the game alone but he has a dog companion who helps him defeat the enemies. You control this dog by whistling.

The trailer ends with an epic boss fight against “Mother Mind” , a boss who is fighted in a ruin which destroys parts of the terrain while fighting.

General facts

You can play the game in a co-op mode with up to 2 friends to explore all of the destroyed but still beautiful world or as a lonely wolf who needs to survive the apocalypse and stop the evil before they stop everything.  

If you want to succeed you have to rely on your own skills and have trust in your team, otherwise it will be hard for you to survive in this world where humanity is close to extinction.

Remnant 2 will be released this year on PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. But their is still no exact release date.
