Therefore, you must observe enemies longer to understand when you can eliminate them unseen.
With the binoculars, you can once again mark enemies and vehicles, making them easier to track. Additionally, you can spot weak points on vehicles to destroy them directly. There is also a vehicle Kill Cam when you eliminate someone while they are driving. While high vantage points offer excellent oversight, they also leave you exposed, and escaping from them takes time, as there is no “Leap of Faith” mechanic like in Assassin’s Creed.

Beyond a handful of minor additions, the core experience remains unchanged. It is apparent that Rebellion chose not to take significant risks, preferring to stick to a proven, safe concept.

High-altitude mountain ranges or island chains could serve as excellent destinations for the next chapter. Coastal environments would also introduce amphibious assaults, adding a fresh tactical layer.
A return to Berlin is also conceivable, as modern technology would allow for a much more expansive, open-ended representation of the city. However, this carries the risk of retreading familiar ground, whereas players are likely craving something entirely new. A brand-new protagonist offering a different worldview might also aid the franchise’s narrative development. For now, these are merely fan hopes. Concrete details regarding a new Sniper Elite project have not yet surfaced, although in April 2025, Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley confirmed that they intend to create more Sniper Elite games.
