NIDANA is a walking simulator-style game from the team at lvl374. The game is published by the renowned Japanese publisher PLAYISM, which focuses mainly on publishing indie games. A publisher founded in 2011, it’s behind the publication of numerous titles over the years, such as the La-Mulana and Yume Nikki series, but also Bright Memory: Infinite and more recently Outrider Mako.
The team at lvl374 has been in development on NIDANA since at least 2018, offering a walking sim-style adventure in a monochromatic world. NIDANA: Launch Date Confirmed
Following the official reveal of NIDANA on 25 April 2025, the teams at PLAYISM and lvl374 are finally bringing new updates. The walking sim adventure in a surreal dream world will debut this very month, with the official launch happening on 28 July on Steam.
The announcement was accompanied by a new game trailer, which takes us on an extremely surreal adventure with a monochromatic style. We will enter the dream world of “Her” which has a strong minimalist aesthetic touch to the experience.

With over 7 years of development by the lvl374 team, this month finally marks the launch and debut of the team’s first game. It offers a Walking Simulator-style experience with a strong artistic style. We’ll explore the dream fragments of a certain Her, a world with surreal geometric shapes. We’ll be looking for a way out but also discovering the mysteries of this world, without a single line of text.
Meanwhile, among the latest news from the PLAYISM team, on 23 June 2025 we had the launch of Outrider Mako, the colorful 2D action adventure by Asamado Games. Additionally, the publisher shared new info on The Use of Life!, confirming the arrival of Chapter 3 on 15 July 2025, with Daraneko sharing the news and features on the way.
