Gravity Circuit 2 releases a free playable demo on Steam featuring two stages, while confirming a Nintendo Switch 2 launch planned for spring 2027.

Fans of retro action platformers can get an early taste of Gravity Circuit 2 thanks to a new demo released on Steam. The sequel to one of 2023’s breakout indie games is officially targeting a spring 2027 launch, giving players plenty of time to try out its new features. There’s also good news for Nintendo fans, as the upcoming sequel has confirmed another platform ahead of release.

Gravity Circuit 2 Demo Now on Steam

Domesticated Ant Games and Dear Villagers have shared two major updates for Gravity Circuit 2. The first one is the release of a free demo on Steam. It packs roughly 30 minutes of gameplay across two stages where players can take both Kai and Cable for a spin.

Swapping between the two characters across the campaign is a new setup for the series. So fans, through the demo, can now experience this new feature, test out their two different playstyles, alongside a batch of fresh customization options.

There’s no mention of save data carrying over to the final game. Since this is the first public demo and the full release is still several months away, players shouldn’t count on transferring their progress just yet. This demo version will most likely still differ from the final game.

Gravity Circuit 2 is Coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Along with the demo announcement, Domesticated Ant Games and Dear Villagers have announced that Gravity Circuit 2 is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. The game was previously announced for PC, Playstation 5, and the original Nintendo Switch, so the new confirmation expands its planned launch lineup.

The sequel is currently targeting spring 2027, although a specific release date has yet to be announced.
